RBH MC Series In-walls

As some of you know, I got some good deals on RBH MC inwalls which are some of the best inwalls out there. I was planning on using them in our condo, but it turns that we won't be able to. So alas, I have to sell these off. I have the following for sale:

2 Pairs of MC-6 Speakers = $225/pair shipped
1 MCS-88 Subwoofer = $150 shipped
Whole package (4 speakers, 1 sub) = $525 shipped (firm as this was my cost)

The only use these speakers have seen was me hooking them up to confirm they work and they do. If you're interested, drop me a PM. Thanks!

P.S. The MCS-88 Subwoofer is unpowered so you need an external amp. Something like the Icepower sub amp HTD plans to sell soon for $190 shipped or a Behringer A500 should do nicely.

Can these be used for in Ceilings?

Can these be used for in Ceilings? Rear surround for me in a 5.1 set up? How do these sound and what other speakers did you listen to?

I love RBH, I have a 5.1 setup in my theater. I listened to tons of in-walls speakers and the RBHs were and continue to be by far, the most balanced and true speaker I have heard.

I suppose they could be used for ceiling applications. You could pose the question in the loudspeaker forum and see what people think.

Still up for sale. A pair of MC-6's retail for $599 and can usually be found for $300 online. $225 per pair shipped is a steal for these speakers.

I'm interested in the RBH MC-6s...

I'm interested in both pair of RBH MC-6s... Maybe the sub.

Also interested in your advice what to match with them - house is in major remodel with no sheetrock, and I am basically starting fresh. This living room setup will be supporting U-2/Stones type music, plus the HT.)

(Couldn't PM you, since I just joined the forum this evening, and don't yet have privileges...)

Welcome to the forums!

I assume you mean what receiver to match them with. The Yamaha 663, Pioneer 1018, HK 254, and Onkyo 606 are all good picks. I'd probably go with the Yammie for its reliability, features, and low cost. For the sub, the Behringer A500 is tough to beat for the money. For cables, I'd check out Monoprice. Put all this together and you'd have one hell of a system.

LOL... Darn forum rules. Post a few posts in this thread till you hit 5. That way you can PM instead of putting your email out in the open. I sent a PM with my email just now so hopefully the forum lets you at least read PM's.
