I think the San diego Chargers will be playing at the Super Bowl this year.

I thought so too, up until a few weeks ago. I can't believe how many of our starters are either injured or coming off an injury and we haven't even started the season yet!!! I think Merriman is crazy for playing with 2 torn ligaments. We face at least 3 teams that cut-block, so I'm sure someone is going to take a cheap shot at his knees.

But I did get to watch them play the 9'ers last night and the first team looked pretty good, even without LT, Gates and Rivers.

Forget about an illegal cut block... his career could end in a gang tackle pile where one of his own guys rolls into his knee. Look at how Osi U. is out for the year- he wasn't even touched!!! Merriman is absolutely insane for trying to play!! He's costing himself millions of future dollars with this decision- there's no way anybody signs him to a long term deal worth the kind of money he's going to want.
