I have not heard that speaker, but Irvine M Fried was a great designer. He was an American, but had to go to England to learn his craft. He has a good lineage. He was part of he Radford team that did so much work on the TL. Ralph West of Decca developed Paul Voight's quarter wave pipe. Decca seconded Dr. Bailey to the Radford team. John Wright was also part of that group.

Irvine M. Fried went on to produce the famous IMF TL monitor. John Wright went on to found TDL and produced some of the best speakers the planet has ever seen.

I have always stood in awe of that whole group, and done my best to follow in their footsteps.

Since they are ONLY 2 hours away I am thinking of getting them. They are free and I will have to spend $30 in gas..... not sure what to do. TLS I read up on the Fried history and was quite impressed thanks for the input. I should just shut up and go get them......:D
