"Thanks" function

Is the "Thanks" button no longer working? I have been trying to thank a lot of the folks that have been posting useful info and it never seems to show up. The button disappears after selecting it...but the actual "thanks" never shows up.

Anybody else having this problem or am I just too dumb to figure out how to use this tool?

LOL. I wasn’t fishing for people to give me thanks. I just tried to give Glock a “Thanks” and it didn’t show up….

my "Thanks" is working okay!.

Sometimes if you use the Scales Icon to approve/disprove then you are locked out of using it for that same user for a period of time ~ a week.

However "Thanks" give one reputation point and the scales can give or take away a lot more points depending upon you own green chicklet level.

It is a pretty neat system, except for the people that give tha anonymous red chcklet disapprovals.

... It encourages one to lend a HELPING HAND

Is something supposed to happen when I click on the scales? I tried it for Midcow2 and nothing happened.

I don't know... I've never really tried to use the scales... click on my scales and see what happens.

This happens to me with the thanks button on occasion, when I give thanks the button dissappears and the thanks does not appear under the post. When this happens to me I refresh the screen and try again, the thanks button always works after that.

Ivseenbetter - it doesn't show up on the screen it shows up as a comment in your "User CP" I think it starts at about "3" points if you have One green chicklet and goes up about "3" for each additional green chicklet you have.

Yours said "you the man" and added "3" or so point to my reputation
