Hi
I have a 4 ohm receiver with only one output for one set of speakers is there a way to add a second set 4 or 8 ohm spks? Perhaps using a speaker switch?

You will have to use a switch and not play both at once. Make sure you only switch when there is silence or minimal power. Switching highly inductive loads, like speakers under power, will soon fry the switch.
