From what I have read, she seemed like a very normal, sweet person, in spite of her very abnormal appearance.

For a minute I thought she was supposed to be immortal
Yep, we all gotta go sometime
suffered from a recurring blood infection, along with diabetes, breathing troubles and kidney failure,
even 53 year old ones

RIP....

She clearly has acromegally from her features. This is a growth hormone secreting pituitary tumor present in childhood. She had the known complications. Unfortunately these individuals are not known for longevity.
