When are you going to get the matching center channel for your mains?

Mazer beat me to the question! That's the first thing that I noticed, too. How does the Polk center sound with the Axioms?

Nice set-up, btw. The TV looks fantastic. I can't wait until I get into the flat panel world. Your camera does suck. :p But, so does mine, so I'm just kidding with ya. :D

I also notice your mains are pointed straight ahead. Have you tried towing them in, and angling toward the sweet spot? Sometimes tweaking your speaker position can land big results.

Thanks for sharing your system with us.

I am hoping to get an actual t.v stand for the t.v. My aunt and uncle are moving to Sarasota, Florida in the next couple of weeks and they said that I could have their t.v stand (they used it for a 50" dlp) when they move. Their stand has a dedicated centre channel spot which is a bonus. I think a bigger stand will allow me to hide the wires better as well. Finger crossed.

The pics on the camera always end up blurry, I do not know if that is camera or user error...probably both.

I am glad you asked that:). I have the mains pointing straight at each end of the seating position/couch. How much toe in would you suggest to start with?

Do you have MSN/AIM? Send me the picture and I'll upload it into Photobucket.

If you want the picture to me still without a flash, put the camera on a stand and then use a timer to the picture is taken when you're not moving it.

I have tried taking pics with and without a flash and neither sucessfull. I am using microsoft picture manager for cropping, and compressing the file to upload onto the site. How do you attach a timer to a digital camera?

Thats what tweaking is all about. Start with just a little toe-in and listen, a little more, and listen. The position they are in now might be the best. But you will not know until you try. Also try, and move the speakers out some more to the left and right.

I have seen many people think they need new speakers only to find out that they had there speakers positioned wrong in the first place. Once positioned correctly, your speakers can sound like a whole new system.

Most Camera's have one built in. I'm saying, put the camera on a stand or something so it stays still. The blurriness is from you moving around while the shutter is open. If you set the timer, and have it sitting still, you can take a clear photo. Then I can upload it into Photobucket and have the picture at a larger resolution.

nice and neat!

do the axioms sound similar to the polk?

if you haven't ordered the second x-sub yet, you can reach lower frequencies with one lower tuned subwoofer than two high tuned subwoofers :)

try to use www.photobucket.com instead of attaching the pics - if you use photobucket, set the default to 800 x 600 then you don't have to resize the pics yourself, just keep uploading.

when you have the photobucket links, i can edit it into your first post in this thread.

I am still waiting for it to arrive, probably in a week or 2 from what I hear. I will take you up on your advice and when it arrives I will ask you further about this.
