I cut it off at November, but I wanted to throw in the fact that Mirror Mask was announced for December :) Wanted was also mentioned, but I didn't see an actual date.

Frequently I like to imagine how I would cast some of my favorite rolls. For instance Samuel L. Jackson as the warden in Cool Hand Luke...

"What we got here is a mothafu$*in failure to f*c&in communicate! Some d@mn men you just can't f*c&in teach, so you get what we had here last week. Which is the way he wants it, well he mothafu$*in gets it!"

Criterion Collection starts rolling out in October. I don't have an actual date. The first twelve titles are:

The Third Man
Bottle Rocket
Chungking Express
The Man Who Fell to Earth
The Last Emperor
El Norte
The 400 Blows
Gimme Shelter
The Complete Monterey Pop
Contempt
Walkabout
For All Mankind
The Wages of Fear

Not cheap. Between these, Godfather, and Band of Brothers....

I wasn't aware they made a sequel to the already steaming pile of PHAIL that is "The Scorpion King".

Steven Speilberg and Universal need to get on the button and get the best transfer of Jurassic Park out on Blu-ray PRONTO!!! They need to watch the LD version of the movie, and base how the soundtrack should sould off of that (the Dolby Digital on DVD sucked, and the DTS sucked harder as well on DVD). They can also clean up the film and do a direct transfer. Steven, if you mess this up........you don't even want to think about messing up dude.;)

Yes, The Scorpion King 2 appears to be direct to video, with the only significant note about it being that Randy Coture (former multi-time title holder of the UFC) is one of the stars. For that reason alone I listed it and will at the very least rent it. The trailer doesn't look any worse than the first one.

And Guns N Roses ripped it off from Cool Hand Luke.

I bought the 2 Kill Bill movies, Transformers, and have Iron Man on order for its release. All a good buy!

The Scorpion King 2 is bad, well mostly Randy Couture, and I'm a big fan of him (in the UFC). If anyone really wants to see it rent it, I bought it but that's just to round out the Mummy collection.

My son and Randy Couture

Anyone ever tell you that your son looks like Dominic Monaghan? Might just be the picture, but the resemblance is the first thing that hit me when I looked at it.

LOL, the hobbet, I'll tell him that!
I can sort of see what you mean, but in real life he doesn't. Looks like me, but younger and no grey hair!

There's only one title from that list that I am very interested in. You'll have to guess though. And your first 21 guesses don't count. :p
