Yeah, but the guy playing Sabertooth in the first X-men movie looked like he was about 6' 5". What's Liev, 5' 10" standing on his tippie-toes maybe?
I thought he was tall.

I checked IMDB, he's 6' 3".:D

The guy in X-men was wearing Tom Cruise's boots, aka: extra tall boots. You can see it in a few scenes.

Ryan Reynolds is a good pick for Deadpool imo. I remember when Heath Ledger was cast as Joker and everyone was like huh? Now look at what happened? :D

Yeah, I'm not really a huge fan of Jackman as Wolverine. His face is good for the character, but not the body. But how many 5' 5" 250lb solid muscle guys are walking around out there?

I finally saw Dark Knight last night.

Overall I really liked this movie. The flying scenes were amazing! The action was excellent and the story was involving for the most part. I thought it was great to see the good in even the criminals that wanted redemption at the end where they wouldn't blow up the other ferry.

But, there are several things that bothered me:

  • I new Rachel was IMO unattractive and dispassionate. Katie Holmes was much better as was her connection to Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins. There was just no emotion from the new Rachel in this movie and she seemed very *****y to me. I felt no remorse when she died.

  • What's with the deal when Batman was about to run down the joker on his bike and fell off? That made NO sense whatsoever

  • I thought it was pathetic that Batman was ready to reveal his identity in hopes that the Joker would stop killing people

  • There was absolutely no reason to instantly create and destroy the two face character. his death should have been saved for a sequel

  • What's up with Christian Bale? He seemed like he lost a lot of weight in this movie

  • In Batman Begins, he kills the main villian by not saving him on the train. Why didn't he do the same with the Joker? I just don't buy him going out of his way to save him again

  • I thought it was ridiculous how Batman just beats the crap out of the Joker yet the Joker doesn't feel pain, doesn't bleed, or nothing

That being said I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and hope the next one will be on the same level and NOT introduce a Penguin, Robin or Batgirl character. If they do Mr. Freeze, this time it should be Patrick Stewart and NOT Arnold!

PS. I don't understand why everyone was rushing to that particular hospital. Did I miss something? I swore I heard the Joker say if nobody kills the person about to reveal Batman's identity in 60 min, he will blow up A hospital, not naming a specific one. Somebody please explain this as I may have been paying too much attention to the nachos on that particular scene.
I totally agree with you, Gene!:D

For some reasons, I thought Batman Begins was more EMOTIONAL and I cared a lot more for the characters in Batman Begins.

"I won't kill you. But I don't have to save you either."

That was an awesome line from Batman Begins!

It's very grey, but not SAVING someone is almost like KILLING them in a way, doesn't it?

If you let someone drown in a swimming pool when you could have easily saved him/her, or if you let someone have a heart attack when you could have saved him/her by giving him/her the Nitroglycerin pills, wouldn't that be secondary manslaughter or something?

Kill the damn joker!

Well I saw the Black Night at a drive in of all places and I must say that this one is going to be a keeper. Keith Ledger did a phenomenal job on the joker and should be awared as many Oscars as he can carry; well at least in memorium anyway. The movie was dark, entertaining, and didn't have the stupid "bimbo" chick falling over Batman all the time.

This movie seems to be haunted. Keith Ledger passes away, Morgan Freeman makes his 97 Nissan Maxima fly thru thr air and the guy who plays Batman gets in trouble with the law in Europe.

What?

I don't get it.

Why would a millionaire drive a Nissan?

Shouldn't he be crashing a Mercedes, BMW, Porche, Lexus or something along that line?:D

There was a female passenger with him at the time of the crash; it was her car apparently.

I will definitely not miss this Blu-Ray...
in a few days, TDN will cross the 500,000,000$ bar in the US... pretty amazing, even though Titanic is still far out of reach
