I appreciate the comment. I kind of spoil myself with the tools, but it causes me much less stress in life to have good tools. Plus, I think it is much safer to have the right tools.

My Festool miter saw (Kapex 120) should be at the house this weekend so that will be good. Between working on the speaker and the car I should have plenty to do next week. I'm hoping I can get it done soon!

I've been on the road ever since I started it. I spent the last weekend arranging the shop so I could work more efficiently. I will be updating the thread when I get some more work done. Thanks for asking!

No updates. This week was my first full week home in a few months so I used it for catching up, plus I have a book (technology course actually) to write so that will take some of my time. I have all of the equipment here waiting for me to get some time. I'll be on the road for five weeks, but will have a lot more time come mid-November.

On a side note, I got bored and hooked up the amp (EP2500) to my Paradigm Studio 100's and wow. I know that purchased speakers is a verboten topic in the DIY section, but the speakers performed much better with more power. I like things a bit loud and they just kept on performing.

I look forward to building my own mains once I can get time and speaker plans.
