I'd throw a party if Favre ends up with the Bucs.

It'd be a major confidence boost to the Saints secondary to have a 3-INT game twice a year ;)

Don't the Bucs have Garcia? Hasn't he been playing well?

The Bucs have, at last count, 5 QBs of roughly equivalent mediocre caliber.

There's Jeff Garcia, Brian Griese, Chris Simms, Bruce Gradkowski, and Luke McCown. All of whom have started at least one game in the past 2 years. Plus they have a couple of draft picks kicking around. Garcia is the obvious starter, but he's 38 years old and has been *****ing about not getting a contract extension.

Does Johnson even play in the league anymore? What a bumb! Throw Todd Collins in their too, he was about as useless as Johnson. We have some potential at quarter back with Trent Edwards now that he is starting. We still have another bust kicking around in Loseman though.

I'll trade Loseman for one of those New York street hot dogs anyday.

Is anyone interested in starting an audioholics fantasy football league (maybe on like yahoo or some other site)? Just thought I would throw that out there.

I would rather watch the CFL over college football. I would love to see Canada get a pro football team.....maybe the Buffalo Bills???

I would agree with you if we were talking basketball, but the NFL is way better than college football, with the exception of bowl games of course...:D

I love them both, and I don't think one is better than the other. The quality of the game is better in the pros hands down- but the stadiums, the fans, the excitement, and the option (I love the option) give college a totally different feel.

The greatest football game I ever went to in my life was at the Big House in Ann Arbor, MI. Until you've been in a stadium with 100,000 screaming fans (unlike the NFL you cannot conduct business at a college game) with painted faces and chests that keep the emotion going for the whole game, then you have not yet experienced football. It wasn't even that big of a game (UM vs. Purdue back in 2004), but nobody left early and everybody sang the fight song when it came time.

There have been allegations of the Minnesota Vikings tampering with Brett Favre. It is a tricky situation considered he is still under contract with Green Bay. It looks like the situation with Minnesota with Farve will become a league matter now since files of tampering have been charged by green bay against them. The only team I do not want Brett to go to is the Jets because my Bills are in that division.
Yeah, it is going to be rather interesting to see how this all unfolds. It should not be too much longer and we will all know. At least, that is my hope anyways.

Cheers,

Phil

I call Bucs...
My co-worker believes that is where Brett is going. He watches sports center all the time. In fact, he keeps it on all day at work. Guess we will just all have to wait and see.

Cheers,

Phil

If they are found guilty they will probably recieve a fine and/or lose a draft pick. I cannot see anything more considering the punishment BILLACHEAT and the New England Patriots recieved over spygate which in my book is a much more serious offence than this. Cheating > Tampering.

The fact that Sportscenter junkies think Favre will end up with the Bucs is almost ironclad proof that he won't.

Those guys rarely get things right. They're the same doofuses who are turning Manny's "if they trade me, they trade me. I play ball and I'll do it anywhere" comments into "The Sox front office is getting so frustrated with Manny, and Manny wants out!" They're nuts, and dumb to boot.

The team I would love to see Favre go to would be the Chicago Bears. I think Chicago and the Jets could benefit the most from Favres services. Chicago and Green Bay have a history which would make for some good television. Considering the fact that Chicago is in Green Bay's division I think they would be pretty stupid to trade him to Chicago unless they offer a sweet deal to them like a first rd pick. It would be such a circus if this would happen, very slim chance though.

Exactly how I see it. You just put it into perspective. Who knows what will actually happen. Only time will tell.

Cheers,

Phil
