haha I had that same receiver when I was in college. It did a decent job for 2CH but the center/surrounds were so grossly underpowered. Ah the good ole days of Prologic and Top Gun :)

I'm guessing that we are about the same age.(40'ish) That old receiver survived many-a-keg party back in the day when I was in college in the mid-late '80s. Ya gotta love the era of pro-logic and Top Gun!!

That was a fairly expensive receiver for a college kid!!! I believe it retailed for about $1200 which was a lot of money back then. I only paid $750 for mine because it was a floor sample. I still turn it on every chance I get if I'm out in the garage area. The photo was obviously taken on July 4th. LOL

I had the tunes going while blowing off a bunch of stuff in the driveway:)

Now that brings memories of the 80's alright. It's nice to see a Pioneer receiver from the era again.
