Amp Recommendation for Sub

I am looking at putting an outdoor subwoofer around my deck area. After looking at a few outdoor subs, I decided that I am going use a TIC GS50 Outdoor Omni Subwoofer as the price is relatively inexpensive and I don't need to have the absolute best sound outside.

Since the subwoofer is passive, I am guessing that I would connect the SubWoofer Line Out from the Receiver to a Line In on the Amplifier, and then wire the amplifier to the Subwoofer. The amplifier will ONLY power the subwoofer.

So could you help recommend an amplifier that would work with this sub?

don't hook to line out !!

You don't want to hook to line-out!. Since subs are powered ( have their own amplifier) you want to connect to a Pre-out connection. Normally there is a separateLFE (Low frequency Effect) or "subwoofer" connection for subwoofers.

Any Amp with a .1 will work. The .1 is the sub output

This is probably the best bet. Another option is the Emotiva BPA-1 or the Dayton version found here:
