I think Pixar is the victim of it's own success.
After you have so many winners in a row, it 's difficult to live up to one's own track record.
IMNSHO, up until Cars. which I found tiresome at best, and Ratatouie (sp?), which totally bored me, they had such a string of winners that it was only a matter of time before they fell prey to their own past success.
I haven't seen Wall E yet, but the wife wants to see it and when i do, I'll get back to ya. ...but my expectations aren't too high.
Actually, the thriill of animation may be wearing off for me. It may be fine for kid's movies but, for me, unless they can find someway to hook me again, it's charm for me may be over.
P.S. I think my all time Pixar favorite was "A Bug's Life"
