Does anyone know if the new Onkyo TX-N905 will output to both HDMI outputs at the same time and whether this operates like a matrix switch (i.e., any one of the four HDMI inputs can be directed to either of the HDMI outputs independent of each other)?
It also appears to me that this unit will upscale all analog and digital signals to 1080p via HDMI. Is that consistent with what others think?
It would be great if we could see a full review and head to head comparison of the Onkyo TX-N905 and the Denon 4308CI.
Thanks
Hey man unfortunately they will not output to both HDMI at the same time and yes it does up convert to the 1080p and trust me it looks great

One of the main reasons I bought this was because of the Reon-Chip, THX Ultra2, HDMI 1.3a, 4 HDMI in and 2 out, 0.05 THD 140W/ channel, etc. I mean what can you not like bout this unit I absolutely LOVE IT and would never regret it or think about it twice. I am not as tech savy as a lot of these guys and was originally going to get the 605 and then I worked my way up to the 805, 875 and then with luck got the 905 instead

I can tell you this much though it works like a charm, have had no issues and enjoy every minute of it....it is worth every penny!!!!
