Circuit City now using Spyder TV to Calibrate

Obviously, I am only going to speak to what I know about. I've always found it's best that way. And I will also submit that the lion's share of my knowlesge on the subject has been accumulated though Best Buy trainings, as well.

I'm not sure I would broadcast that. Most BB employees are completely clueless about the basics of audio and video.

Do Not Use Spyder!!!!!!!!!!

Guys I used to work for that poor excuse of a job called Circuit City and I did use the spyder calibration and it is a worthless piece of $#*@ !!!!! It throws all of the colors off, the blacks are washed out and it sets the brightness too high!! I HATED USING THESE THINGS WITH A PASSION!!!!! I calibrated my former Sammy 42 DLP with both the spyder and with an Avia DVD. The difference is night a day with the Avia DVD!! So heed my warning and stay far, far, away and have ISF calibrate your tv, not tiredog, oops, I ment firedog.

I have the latest Samsung LED 67" I used Avia the day before the Best Buy ISF gay came, the difference is night and day. In searching around for ISF techs the prices were much higher than the $299.00 Best buy charges. To add, when they finish the e-mail you a complete sheet with before and after measurements. Any one looking for the best............DO IT!

According to news reports, Target Stores is also offering an install service through a third-party source(Zip)...that also offers the Spyder calibration.
