My Pioneer Rep told me just a few days ago that the 1018 should be shipping by the end of this month. However, he is a car audio Rep and not a home audio Rep. As such, he is not 100% certain on the accuracy of that info. It does look like, however, that the 1018 will be rolling in soon. When exactly-who really knows????

Some have. They ordered them from Pioneer. I should've clarified at the onset of this thread. I'm looking for people who have ordered from someone other than Pioneer.

They're also showing up at Best Buys according to the AVS thread, but I'm not sure if it's Magnolias or not. I was in a regular one a couple weeks ago and they only had the 918...the kid was understandably clueless about the 1018.

To clarify further, some were having employees ordering from the warehouse and some reported they were actually out on the floor. The website does not show it though.

Just going by what our Pioneer Rep told us. He is new and only deals with the car audio side of things. According to him, the 1018 should be shipping out by the end of this month. That is all he could find out at this point in time.

Dropped by a BB here in Scottsdale yesterday. A couple of the guys checked the database and they said there were several in their warehouse and that the price was going to be $647. I pointed out the Pioneer MSRP of $599 and they said they would match... probably. I think I'll wait 'till they show up in the store. Maybe by then Amazon will have them for under MSRP.??
