Which really stinks b/c their shipping & handling prices are pretty steep unless you're willing to buy 3-4 items at a time.

I am pretty sure that is part of the plan. Prices are low, but they want you to buy more than one and shipping cost is how they "encourage" you to do that.

Yes, though not usually at 9.99. Usually they will have the sale prices around 12.99-17.99, which is still good. Sometimes they will have just certain titles on sale as well as pre-order discounts, typically those prices show up on Tues of each week in the specials section.

I just checked. There were a few, but just a handfull and nothing that looked that interesting, mostly older titles.

That's what I mentioned in the original post - same old titles. For those that are just getting into BD though, it is a good deal.
