I don't buy a whole lot of movies, but I'm always irritated when I do, then at some point down the road, they release an anniversary addition or something like that's typically the uncut version. I always feel a bit duped.

It's cool that they're releasing a couple idfferent versions at the same time.

Best Buy will price-match amazon.com, target.com, and walmart.com.

I normally print out the lowest price of these 3 and bring it to Best Buy.

Oh, yearh, I'll be buying Batman Begins BD today @ Best Buy for $17.86 (walmart.com).

BB won't match walmart.com's price will they? Since that is not the in-store price (even Walmart won't match it...). I preordered it from Warner online for $13.50 :D I already have this on HD DVD and I was pretty impressed with the video and audio quality.

Oh, yeah, BB has price-matched all the amazon.com prices I've brought to them.

Yours will, mine won't.
Yeah, I just printed out the walmart.com price on Batman Begins BD and brought it to BB yesterday after work. They matched it immediately. No questions asked.

I preordered on Amazon for $18.95 and received the disc yesterday (I LOVE prime), but then got an email today letting me know that they dropped the price to $17.95 so they were crediting me the $1.00 back.

I'm going to have to try it at one of the other ones near by. The nearest one doesn't do it because they know the online price doesn't match the in-store price (and because Walmart is in the same shopping center as that one).

I don't get some of these retail workers. I mean why even bother turning down any customers? So uncool.

When amazon.com had Shinobi BD for $10, I printed it out and BB price-matched it just fine. The manager guy looked at my print-out and said, "Wow, that's a great price on Amazon". Just like that. No hassle.

I know; what do they care if the company loses $2-3 on one sale? They still got the sale instead of the other place.

I got them to match Walmart. They said they will not match Amazon.

Anyone have the IMAX Dark Knight bonus footage glitching on them?

The movie itself plays fine, but the IMAX footage is glitching big time. Slows down, and no audio. I don't know what's going on here...

Fry's has it for $19.99. Ironically, the HD DVD is only $9.99--same page.

Fry's has pretty much all HD-DVDs on sale for 9.99-11.99 in store.
