I have a plasma tv that has horizontal lines goes across the tv that are equally spaced that are rainbow color instead of the actual picture. The lines started at the the top and worked their way slowly down. Anyone know how to fix this?

If this is consistent on all inputs, then you likely have an issue with the electronics boards inside the plasma. Typically I hear of plasma boards costing about $500 or more to replace.

If the display is out of warranty, it's typically cheaper to replace the display than to try and have it repaired.

This is also something that I've heard of happenning regularly with some of the cheaper brands which is why you hear so many people say to only buy Sony, Sharp, Samsung, Pioneer, and Panasonic. There are other quality products out there, but many other companies are just hit or miss on their products. LG is one I think constantly has good product one day and shoddy the next. Not worth gambling a few hundred bucks when you're already spending $1,000+ on a display.

Since we're talking about possibly replacing the system, I'll say the first thing that came to my mind when I read the initial post yesterday. I recall reading people's reviews of power conditioners in which they claim that the conditioner solved a problem with lines on their TVs. Something to Google, perhaps, and get some info on.
