Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I heard that this morning.

I remember watching his HBO specials when I was a kid. I saw him in SF a couple of years ago, and he was HI-larious. He was supposed to be playing the Mountain Winery here in August. I was thinking about going. Guess I can't now.

First Harvey Korman, now George. Lame.

I just watched him introduce "Buddy Christ" last week too (Dogma). RIP George.

He was one of my favorites and I know the seven words you can never say on TV by heart (heard that bit many times :)) That and his bit about airline jargon - 'The plane will be landing shortly. Oh no, does that mean we're going to miss the runway?' are classics. He really did have a unique way of looking at things. I saw him two years ago in FL.

I was shocked to see the news this morning and he will be missed.

His career sorta died a few years ago, my parents saw him in NYC and he turned into a ranting Political activist which would be ok if it was funny. I remember his show "What the hell am I doing in New Jersey" and back then he was great but RIP, many will miss him.

Yes, he was very much on the political nay-sayer bandwagon when I saw him live in FL a few years ago. Sometimes funny and sometimes not, but I remember him mostly for what he was prior to that.

You know things like Gallagher does, like 'why do we call them buildings, when they are already built, we should call them builts'. He started all that and he was very funny in his prime. Peiople get old and die, and we are always shocked but he did at least leave a mark on those of us that experienced his wit.

Boy I would love to put Gallager's head under his own hammer, if I could get Carrot Top in there too it would almost a perfect day:)

Oh man this is such shocking news. I just found out as the day has gotten away from me. Just have not had much time for anything. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Carlin family. He was absolutely funny to say the least. RIP as he will surely be missed. :(:(

Cheers,

Phil

I was shocked to hear of this today but seeing how he looked in a recent performance, its not surprising. He was a great comedian and will be pissed.

Wow that is bizzare and kinda of funny. I did mean "Missed".

I looks like my index and middle fingers got confused while I was typing.
