Well, I gotta give it credit for one thing.

It's responsible for some of the funniest, most creative writing in the customer reviews on Amazon.com. This is some of the best reading I've ever seen.

No, absolutely no one is saying that people can't sell or buy expensive cables. If that is what you think, you have not been reading carefully enough.

You might as well stop replying to 'itschris'. He's just tossing out one straw man after another, driven by, I'm guessing, a reflexive 'free market warrior' mindset that sees dire threat to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in any critique of consumer culture. But what do I know, I'm just a godless liberal scientist-type. All I know is that the amazon reviews of this crap from Denon, renew my faith in humanity.
