Acoustic Research 803 HO: Replacement Tweeter

I wasn't able to turn anything up online in terms of replacement tweeters. I am looking to repair a damaged set of these speakers, which seem like they would be great in full working condition. One speaker is working perfectly, I have tested the tweeter on the second speaker and have found it to be non-working.

Any help finding a replacement, or finding a way to repair the one that is damaged would be great. I would assume that any speaker from that series would feature the same tweeter, such as the 812 HO.

Seth, as far as repair, I have attempted that myself and yielded null results, the coils are so extremely delicate. I tried to find some info on those speaks to find a nice oem replacement for you, but turned up almost nothing on those specific AR's... kinda rare maybe? I have a really good link for tweets for you.

most AR's to my knowledge, use soft or silk dome design. ''peace

This one actually uses something akin to what Infinity used some time ago on SM series speakers, some sort of foam.

Perhaps tomorrow. I don't have access to a camera at this time. The speakers are currently at my work place.

Seth, I'm sorry that lead didn't work out.
Maybe you'll find the speaker cheap on EBay, to salvage for parts.
