I just read this on Slashdot. WTF?
Denon is charging $500 for an effing Ethernet (TP) cable? Seriously, I can get patch cable already terminated for $0.99 (or less) per bag on the weekend.

Seriously, this is twisted pair cable. It's not even overpriced Toslink or coax. Denon's receivers are priced high but at least they offer something. I guess I'm getting a well wrapped cable that makes me feel all tingly inside for $500.
What's even more effed up about this. Neither of Denon's two Blu-Ray players even has an Ethernet port. Err... yeah.
