Best Way To Run A 30ft dvi-d signal

I want to extend my lcd monitor that uses dvi-d cable 30 ft from the source.

What is the best way to do this while maintaining the picture. The resoultion is 2560 x 1600

The AH Store carries VizionWare in HDMI. They might be able to get the DVI cables, too.

Thanks for the reply, but I wonder why they stop at 19xx resolution?
Do I have to get the vizionware cables? what happens if I try to run the fiberoptic cables?

Im not looking to have the picture perfect...but I dont want the picture to be so blurry I cant read it.

500$ seems like alot for a cable but if I have to have it............

I know that VizionWare has some of the highest throughput available on the market. You can always send DVI Gear an e-mail and ask them.

The bandwidth you're asking for is HUGE. Even more so if you want 60Hz or higher.

DVI Gear sells a Dual Link DVI extender that will handle up to 2560 x 1600 / 60Hz and higher.

Give DVI Gear a call or send an e-mail. You're going to need a dual link DVI-I cable.

I was able to get a EXT-DVI-141DLB for 99 bucks and I picked up a Gefen Dual Link DVI Cable 30 ft (M-M) CAB-DVIC-DL-30MM for 144.

Excellent prices on both items and it should work great. Now I just need to find 30ft USB cable and 30ft ps/2 cables.
