My own experiences with BB have been divided - I have long been irritated by the sales staff at the back of the store, you know, where all the A/V stuff lives, and that along with their selection is a main reason I don't shop there often. However, with that said, any time I have had a reason to deal with their customer service - usually involving a returned item, I have no complaints. They have always been helpful, friendly and accomodating, and have never refused a return, even when it was past the 30 day period.
I could see the acquisition going well - it might give Netflix the financial backing to become an even better entity within the movie rental business. I could also see BB slowly dismantling it piece by piece to restructure and reformat it under the now familiar blue and yellow colors - as long as the service doesn't change, what's the big deal.
I guess we would all have to wait and see...
