I got a quote for Paradigm S6's

Local dealer wants 5500 for them in Birdseye maple .. Anyone else get them cheaper ? He recommended the B&W 803s over them however ..

How much more is the Birdseye than the cherry?
I know the Birdseye looks great; but if you're looking for the best price, try the cherry. (or another non premium finish)
I paid about that for S8's here in NJ; though it was a few years ago

Yea I love it though .. Just called another place and got 20% off!! So thats 4400 for a brand new set in birdseye maple! Thats a deal!

Gosh... are those speakers that good? I mean... seems like their price is way up there! 5500 for a "bookshelf" is kinda high!! And there is a huge price difference between Studios and Signatures.

I listened to them a year ago (S2) along with a Marantz integrated. Sounded very good. But for the price, I wouldn't approach them. Diminishing returns and envy are too high lol.

I want to get one nice set that will last me years to come .. I also have my eye on the Paradigm sub SIG 15 omg that thing is sicK! I wonder what the difference is between the SIG 15 and the SIG 15 signature .. I can select Birdseye with the signature I think thats about it ? I see they both take an XLR connection which is ballar status'ing

The only difference between the Servo 15 and the Signature Servo is the Custom Cabinet. Hardly worth doubling the price for a sub IMO. You would be better served with a Ultra 13. Or just the Servo 15.

Although that Signature servo is an incredible looking sub... Wow...
