Very nice, Warp!

I'll wager that ICE power set you back a few allowances. How do you like it?

Also, that lamp...reminds me of something I did/saw in the '60's!

Nice setup! That lamp is such a great touch, but how does it stay up under extreme bass from that JL?

Thanks Tomorrow, the amp was $2500, from http://www.d-sonic.net/ very happy with its performance, clean, clear superb amp. It was between that and a Parasound A51, I'm sure either would have been great. Much better then the internal amp on the Temporary Pioneer, looking forward until they come out with more new Pre-Amps, otherwise I'll probably go with an Integra.
Haven't decided, but I'm really in no hurry, as this setup sounds simply amazing to me, I seriously have no complaints.

Music sounds just incredible on this system... the Paradigms image like crazy, just a wall of sound in 2 channel....

I love the solid oak trim and molding, nice touch to the room.
Thanks tRiXtA..... The whole house has just downright beautiful hardwood trim everywhere like that, one of the things that sold me on the house. I'm the second owner. Not much to fix up here, just customize to my liking. ;)

Nice setup! That lamp is such a great touch, but how does it stay up under extreme bass from that JL?
I remove the lamp on extreme movies, it will fall off of there due to the vibrations... and I don't want to scratch anything when it falls...

Sweet setup Warp. Wow, I cannot imagine having that for a bedroom system. It must sound incredible.

I do wonder one thing. Why the ICE amp. Not that I have anything negative to say. It just seems for 2500 is a chunk of change when you talking about the XPA a while back. What made you go with the d-sonic?

Wow warp very impressive. Bet the sigs do sound great. Are the Sigs that much better sounding than the Studios??? The cabinets sure look much much better. What kind of extension are you getting out of the JL? Just curious is all. You are one lucky guy. If things ever get too crowded there let me knowe as I have plenty of room for gear like that........LOL!!!!! :p:p Congrats on the set-up.

Thank you sir....
Going back to when I was researching amps, I guess I just started to stray away from the Emotiva from the size of the power supply and that it didn't have enough real world examination yet. The more time a was researching the more the IcePower started to intrigue me, in the end, I wanted a endless amount of power driving the Sigs, I was on the fence between that or a Parsound Halo A51, and it pretty much came down to the coin toss. I know a few other people that have run the IcePower amps with the Sigs and they have been extremely happy with them. So I figured I'd give it a try. I'm pretty much sold on Ice... The D-Sonic is using the exact modules as the really really high end stuff like Jeff Rowlands monoblocks, and they don't modify the modules. So its the same exact thing here minus the chassis, power supply rail, and input/output connectors. Just gobs of clean power, I can run this system at full blast, and its incredibly clean, no distortion that I can hear. Crazy

Gracias mi amigo....

I don't think that the Sigs are leaps and bounds better then the Studios but for sure there is an air of tightness and accuracy over them. Soundstage is a bit better as well... but one look at the cabinetry and I was sold, they are simply gorgeous to me to look at. I never get tired of those sexy cabinets, and they match the woodwork perfectly...
The F112 is so tight and clean, output is truly amazing for that little beast, just doesn't go as low as the PB12 but doesn't dissapoint one bit.
Very Very happy...

I dont think Id get much sleep if I had that set up in my room
Hehehhe Between that setup and the meaning for the "Love Shack", there is definitely not enough sleep going on... :D But I'm not complaining..

Warp, so very nice. You're bedroom system blows away my main (well, only) system! I like it a lot.

This thread and your responses in the thread about the ICE amps has me thinking about getting one. I always respected your opinions and input on hardware, and you seem to really like yours. I've been back for two days and you've already got me thinking about plunking down $2500 on an amp. Oh, the weakness of my will.

Again, though, great set-up! BTW, did you ever build that monster DIY subwoofer (or maybe it was two of them)? I've been out of touch for too long.

I agree warp the cabinets are awesome. The JL looks pretty darn good too. Like Mike said, I am jealous too. :p:p I have never gotten to hear the Sigs but the Studios are spectacular to say the least.

Very nice equipment and the hiding the bulk of it in the basement was a great move. The only thing I would have done different is mount the display lower.

Great job!!!!

Hey Adam... I think that you could do equally as well with a used Parasound Halo A51, for much cheaper, I would still like to put it up against the IcePower, I also have to do an A/B test with the Ice against the Rotel 1095. I really don't have a completely perfect environment to discern the absolute finest details here... but I think any of those quality products are something that get into diminishing returns. Slight nuances that most would not be able to discern.

I will say that A/Bing my new IcePower against the Pioneer internal amp - that the Ice is a far cleaner, and more dynamic amp. Not huge differences, but definitely noticable, the extra headroom is worth alot to me.... I like to shake things up, and this will definitely do that.

I guess I just wanted to go in a different route, the D-Sonic offers a trial period as well...

Thanks croseiv...
I am running a full 6.1 of the Paradigm Studio .v4's 100's, 690, 20's single ADP-590 rear, Dual Plus/2's. As far as the bedroom, I did a step up for SQ, as I really do alot of music while i'm chillin on the laptop... I got all the speakers off Audiogon, for 50% of retail, the S4's were unopened new in box... :) I'm sure there will be an upgrade sometime down the line of my Great Room setup, but I'm super happy now, and I have a bagillion other projects to tackle before I need to worry about that, if ever... :)

Hey there wescott... :)
The Screen is a 42 and is angled downward, but my bed is really high, so its just a touch above eye level... really its perfect... but I also bought the mount for a 50" panel, when the time comes for me to upgrade my Living Room display, that 50" 9UK will be moved into the bedroom.

Pictures are always so deceiving, It really is the perfect height for me.

HAHA.... Nomo, you need to PM me, neighbors are always welcome here for a beer and some snacks... Oh and your more then welcome to give the systems all a good test run. BYOD... thats "bring your own diapers !!!" I got plenty of the liquid type snacks....

Oshkosh is 45 mins to an hour away... an easy jaunt...

I keep looking back and thinking I would be easily as happy with a used Parasound A51.... for close to half the price... Maybe I gained a couple of db's. Oh well... Its only money and to me its all about new experiences and testing the different interesting realms that this all leads too...

BTW, I don't have my own plane yet, but some day... who knows...
I've spent many days at the Oshkosh EAA Fly In... buddy has a hanger there, and my uncle has a Glass Air III I have had the opportunity to fly and fly in many times...
