very nice ... now i'm mouth watering over than killer paradigm center.

is that like the official canadian "cool" comment nowadays? :)
Nope. That is the official anthem for 80's porn. Fur rug? I know it puts me in the mood. :D

That center really looks like it means business. I could spend a lot of time on compliments but I'm going to skip that. Better placement of the surrounds and sub would IMHO serve to enhance your audio. I would also experiment with losing the surround backs due to your couch being backed up against a wall. My couch is the same way. I have my own room issues and know how tough it can be to find a home for the sub but you gotta give it a chance out side of that nook. How long have you had the system?

Dang! Didn't realized how big this center channel was until you put it under a 61" screen, taking the whole unit's width!. I've always been impressed by the looks and sound of those speakers. A bit expensive but worth it.

LOL its a chick magnet, the first thing that they do is feel it when they walk in the room. Sure wish I was a sheep skin : ) Anyway back to business ya the way my living room is shaped with the fireplace in the back it makes it challenging because that would be a perfect place for JVC . I've been thinking about moving the sub and getting a longer cable because before I got the center channel/new fronts the bass really filled the whole room but now for some reason you feel it more in the front. It still sounds good but I think your wright that sub is screaming to be moved farther towards or on the back corner of the room. I've only had the denon 3808 and studio fronts and center for a few weeks and im totally loving them. Before I was running a old Yamaha that didnt even have dts but was and still is a good receiver a long with some rt600i polks and center which will probably turn into another room system. Im thinking about bi-amping and just going back to 5 and 1 but undecided. Whats funny was thats how this all started was I wanted to get 7 and 1 with dts and the next thing I know new speakers cables, power/surge protector followed. Thanks for the suggestions and please keep them coming

It is now : )
looks nice.
Sounds even better, I cant beleive the different sounds I hear and how much more defined it is with this versus my other center, it makes me feel like im in the movie or in the same rroom as the actors.
Man, that's one classy set-up!
Thanks a lot bro !!!

Ya loosing my surround backs might be the excuse I needed to go back to 5 and 1 and too bi-amp. But I just bought the bi-wire last week and hooked it up:(. The sub looks and fits so good in its cubby hole lol but I know its for sound and not looks. Guess i'll have to pickup a 15 or 20' sub cable so I can relocate it. Thanks again that really is some great advice and I'VE thought about it but never followed threw, I guess I needed that little push/sound advise

Nice setup, that's a kind of a difficult room to work with for placement. I think you did a good job. Getting that sub out a bit will probably help with the bass. If you want to keep the rear surrounds, try putting them on the floor right behind the couch firing up. You can hide the wires under the couch. If they dont work out there you'll probably be fine with a 5.1 setup.

Nice system. You are terribly under-subbed though.

Thankyou and thats a good idea with the rear surrounds and i'll try moving the sub a few inches out of its little cubby hole and see if it helps .

Do you really think im under subbed though ? do you think I need a 12 inch..That 10 really hits pretty hard, to me anyway. I've got the crossover off on the sub and the receivers set at 40 and the volume on sub set at about 1/4 up and the receiver at - .02 and still shakes and rattles stuff on the table and mantel above the fire place, you can actual feel it on the big explosions and such . It just seems now though you can tell the base is coming more from the front of the room and before my new fronts and center it was more neutral and couldnt really tell were it was coming from. The center speaker really puts out some nice base for what it is ,but that might of contributed to the problem .
