Well, I complained just a few hours ago about Paramount not announcing titles... Iron Man to be specific, but really, they hadn't announced a thing.

Now, just to make a point about my luck, Paramount has announced their first titles.

Love 'em or not, there will eventually be a movie or two that is worth adding to your collection at some point. I'll let myself get suckered into Transformers and Iron Man when they roll out for sure... whenever that may be. Likewise, Bee Movie may end up in the house for my 4 year old to enjoy.

Thank you Paramount for finally stepping up with a firm announcement of titles... Looking forward to many more.

The titles that they are releasing for may is pathetic... and its only 6 movies for 2 months...

I also predict iron man to be a flop.

For Paramount, it's more of a RE-launch.

It should not be too difficult for Paramount since they had initially released both HD DVD and Blu-ray movies.

The big one is UNIVERSAL studio. They have never released a single blu-ray title.

Transformers is already out on BD overseas and can be bought as an import.

Note too that they have also "reactivated" most of their previously released BD tiltles.

I held out for There Will Be Blood when it hit on SD because I knew the BD wouldn't be too far behind.

I take it you were saying all of this with sarcasm?

I mean, Rotten Tomatoes is showing Iron Man with 94% approval by reviewers at this point, far better than almost any other film manages.

I would have to say 'pathetic' is in the eyes of the movie lover. Personal opinions on films just means diddly. Your 'pathetic' is someone elses 'awesome!'

Me personally? A couple are of interest, and Bee Movie will probably come in because of the kids in our house.

I'm just psyched they are officially back on the BD bandwagon, where they never should have left to begin with.
