I plan to run this 35 feet RG6 cable from the receiver in the closet to the subwoofer in the master bed room. at the receiver, I use this RCA wall plate. at the subwoofer, I use this wall plate modular.

my concern is the RCA wall plate, Can I use component RCA coupler for subwoofer connection?

Another question: I got this speaker wall plate from monoprice. as you can see, it got a F to RCA connector for the subwoofer, and I will install it at the receiver location. If I run RG6 cable with F connectors to the subwoofer, I would need F to RCA (wall plate or modular) at the subwoofer location. but I can't find a single F to RCA modular (to be inserted in wall plate) on monoprice. can someone point me to one?

Sure, it's just an RCA jack with the color coding for component video. The issue is that the back side is probably RCA female too and you'll need an adaptor to go from F-male to RCA female.

This will probably fit that wall plate exactly as it looks to be the same wall plate that PartsExpress sells.
F-male to RCA female: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=091-1200 I have the same setup with an RG6 cable in the wall and I originally bought this jack. I'd suggest buying a few more than you actually need because I had trouble getting the pin on the RG6 cable into one of the jacks (too tight).

Instead you can use this if the wall plate is terminated with an F connector: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=090-367

That looks like the kind of adapter you put on the end of the cable, like the F to RCA adapter from PartsExpress. It would probably fit in the wall plates that have a single circular hole but you'd need a nut to secure it to the wall plate.

You'd want the first one under Related Products.
