Nope...Stereo Dimensional Array is a patented concept by Matt Polk from the 80s...using crosstalk and cancellation, they put out an almost 3D soundstage, very wide and deep. Those are the small/medium floorstanders.

What's wrong with the sound right now?!

I own Rti8 myself and I think that the promblem was the speakers themselves. I don't find them to be very good speakers, regardless of tastes. It might do for you but I bet 2-3000$ in speakers would do you way better than 2-3000$ on an amp.

The 12" is a PR. They put out quite a bit of very clean bass and blend extremely well with the Ultra when I want that added kick. Enough of a derail...PM me if you're curious .

I've heard Ron's setup many times, most recently with almost his current setup. It definitely sounds nice. I can't think of any sub that I've heard that sounds better than the Ultra so far.
