Hey guys,

I've made of list of components I want to go and buy tomorrow, but I'm not exactly sure which ones are best of the bunch. So i figure id ask some people who know what their talking about

anyhow, here's the rough draft.. please chime in with your advice on any of these pieces of equipment:

Denon Recievers:

AVR-987
AVR-887
AVR-687
AVR-587

I would be using this for a small game room/ small office. It would be primarily for playing retro games, and all last gen systems as well (ps2/xbox/gc). Which one would you go with? I'm a price performance kinda guy, i don't need the absolute best, but like to get the best for my money. =)

Front & Center Speakers:

Boston VR2 for front Speakers (was thinking of picking these up for my main HD system in the living room. Are they all that better than the smaller ones listed below?

Boston VRC Center speaker

Front or Back Speakers:

Boston CR67 pair front or back speakers

Boston Bravo II front and rear speakers

Boston CRC7 Front and back speakers

SUB

Boston Xb Series (X2-X8)

What would you do?

All advice is welcome and very appriciated!!

Thanks,

jeez, if your budget permits all that? Get the best speakers you can afford, get the recv that has the benifits you need, ditch the sub. The post lists alot of gear, maybe try posting questions about speakers in the speakers forum and sub in the sub forum. Are you limited to the brand/s you mentioned?

You said buy tomorrow, think it might be prudent to do a little research before you go blow your wad?

887 for the hdmi benefits, and the eq. But the yamma 663 would be a better bang for the buck
