Anything.... I mean I'm open to suggestions about other speakers to audition also.

I've heard the paradigm and the dynaudio. They sound very similar. For the price the focus and studio lines are outstanding. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I own the Focus 140's and find them to be a very detailed, clear sounding speaker with an excellent soundstage presentation. I imagine that the 110's will share these Dynaudio qualities. For the record, I found the Studio 20's harsh and bright, hated them, just one guy's opinion.

If you get the chance, throw the Era D5 into the audition mix, as well.

Man thats a good call on the Era D5...Gorgeous speaker, I think I read something on here about someone comparing the Era with the Dyna. I believe the Era might be half as expensive also...cant find an MSRP yet but will keep looking. Thanks for that suggestion, I have an Era dealer right in my location:)

I havent heard Monitor audios butI would have to go with the dyns! The Intimus from aperion is good but IMO is best suited for HT only. Paradigm studio 20s are better musically compared to the Aperions but are harsh and fatiguing for my taste. I am definitely sold on the dyns. Very natural sounding. You might find it "laid back" as the studio 20s are more upfront in terms of bass and treble but the dyns are just superb overall. The down side is that the dyns just went up in price as of Last month most likely by $100 for the focus 110 and they require really good amplification as these speakers are not very efficient.

That's probably my little comparo you were reading. I've got the Era and the Dyne's both here at my house. I like to do a little switcheroo from time to time so I can enjoy each for their own qualities.
