This is pretty much my exact job descrip, taken from the job postings:
"Provide engineering support to the Propulsion Components Division of the
Propulsion Systems Department of MSFC for the design, development, and testing of the Main Propulsion System of the Ares I Upper Stage. Assist in the design, development, and testing of valves, valve actuators, lines (tubing assemblies), and ducts (piping and flex-joints). Support conceptual design, fluid flow analysis, stress analysis, material selection, manufacturing technique selection, computer aided design modeling, and engineering drawing preparation. Additionally, development of requirements, specifications, test plans, test procedures, and technical reports for design and evaluation of fluid system components will be required. Perform conceptual design, detailed design, and documentation preparation. Perform development engineering analysis or preliminary stress analysis to ensure proper operation and adequate structural integrity of the component hardware. Support component level evaluations, analyze design specifications and drawings, and recommend changes to enable proper functioning of the hardware. Support component test anomaly investigation and resolution. Participate in design reviews. Participate, in support of senior engineers, in conducting tests or reviewing data from tests to evaluate performance of valves, actuators, lines, ducts, miscellaneous fluid components, and fluid systems. Develop preliminary versions of test plans, test procedures, and test reports. Design test systems and equipment."
