Def Tech Mythos 2/3 Vs Paradigm Monitor 9

I am looking into buying a home theatre system.

Current thoughts are:
- Denon 3808CI receiver (130 Watts x 7).
- Definitive Technology Mythos 2 (l/r front speakers).
- Definitive Technology Mythos 3 (centre speaker).
- Definitive Technology Sub (Thinking Supercube1? not sure yet though
a smaller cube is a lot cheaper).
- Definitive Technology UIW64/A (l/r rear speakers)
- Sony PS3 for Blu-Ray

The room is ~ 17x17 with 15 ft ceilings, and I want this baby to be loud for music as well.

So my question is, how does the above setup look? Also looking into Paradigm Monitor 9s, are they better/equal/worse than the Def Tech Mythos stuff?

Sounds pretty good to me.

I'm sure some will think the Paradigms are better and some will think the DTs are better for various reasons. Everyone has different taste.

But you got my approval there: 3808 + Mythos 2 + 3 + SC1 + PS3 (sounds like an algebra equation).

I too think it sounds like a great system, but for more bang for the buck, I would go with something like an SVS or HSU sub, not that there is anything wrong with the supercube subs.
