remote code??

I am trying to set the remote for my integra reciever to control my ht. However the codes for Sony dvd players (0560, 0891, 1097, 1560, 2008, 2047) will not work for the bdps300 blueray player!! Does anyone know what the remote code for the blueray players is??

Those numbers are setup codes and are not interchangeable between different remotes. A setup code just points to a table in memory with the details for communicating with a particular brand or type of device. It's possible that the remote does have a setup code that would work some or all of the functions of the BD player and it is just not listed in the manual but in general if none of the listed codes work there is nothing you can do.

If the remote has a learning feature you could learn the commands from the player's remote. Setup codes from other remotes will not work.
