MB Quart ALEXXA SW-10 / SW-12

Sub options

You can get a lot of sub in the $1200-1400 dollar range, a lot more than a 10" woofer and 250 Watt amp!

Check out the options from SVS, HSU, and AV123 in your price range. AV123 is selling a pair of the new MFW-15 subs for $1k for example. These are great for a large HT but are not small by any means.

For something smaller, check out the SVS SB12-Plus for $6-700 each. I went with one of these for a WAF/performance compromise.

Edit: I saw the location in your sig. Velodyne, JL Audio, Martin Login or Paridigm might be more readily availabe over there. I know that SVS exports, but I am not sure about the other ID companies.

Hey thanks, I know, I know there's a lot of competent sub's out here, I just wondered if anyone listened to those subs.....
I really like sealed enclosures better than bass reflex, works better to me, but that's just my opinion
I guess I may finally be going for the emotiva sub's (http://www.emotiva.com/speakers.html) I'm already on the waiting list for a pair )

Check this link out if you like a good audiophile sub. It's one of the subs I use in my system. Costly but well worth it. Very thight and totaly intergrates with system. Not noticeable at all. It's there but it's not, that's the key to a good sub anyway.
