I'm currently playing music on a Technics SL-Q200 from somehere in the late 70s/early 80s I think. I've been using this TT for several years and it's now time to replace the cartridge. I have an Audio Technica AT132EP from way back on it now. I don't know a whole lot about this stuff and I'm not sure what cartridges would be most appropriate for this TT. Can someone please help me?

Thanks

Thanks MUDSHARK,

Somehow I didn't think about just replacing the needle. That seems to be more reasonable than looking for a fancy new cartridge for the humble system that I run.

Take your pick.

I would recommend something from Shure, Ortofon or Goldring.
