I am putting a dedicated home theater, with a room size of 14x22'. Screen size is 120".

Projector: Mitsubishi HC 6000u
Reciever: Onkyo TX-SR875
DVD player: Denon DVD2500BTC
Speaker: Jamo kevlar Series Inwall
L C R ( 626K4 )

Need help in chosing subwoofer
I like THX Processing that is why I picked Onkyo otherwise I liked Denon 3808CI also.
I will be buying these products in next two weeks, any advice regarding changing in above combination is welcome too. Any comment on above products will be helpful.

What is your budget for the subwoofer? Also do you have any size restrictions on it?

Budget is around $750. No space restriction, I can put outside in corner of my room.

Mike you forgot to mention AV123. Aren't you waiting on some MFW-15's?

All of these are good reputable companies. Might want to take a look at the craigsub rateings that are over on avsforum.com. The new MFW-15 sounds like it is going to be a great subwoofer for the money if you don't mind the wait.

My vote for the SVS, but all the recommended subs are just about the best of the best for Home Theater as far as mutual agreement is concerned. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. Your price range puts you in the sweet spot for some serious low-end power. :)

nope, they're not ex-stock yet. I'll consider them when they're actually ex-stock. (and more reviews and tests have come out) :)

I couldn't convince myself to get the moho finish when those were ex-stock.

A friend of mine just purchased a Velodyne SPL1500R for use with the Onkyo 875. Nice set up, sounds great.

The OP stated his budget around $750. That Velo is a bit beyond his price range. ;)

OK. The brain must just be telling me things I'd like to see and not what I'm seeing.
