Yeah Netflix is very good for trying out - I loved the dmb and tim reynolds blu ray so I was going to just by the nin hd dvd because of the good reviews but I thought it looked and sounded terrible.
You know overall I prefer the DVD of "...and all that could have been"
Although it's Fullscreen, if you pick up the dts edition all the easter eggs are in 5.1 dts whereas the Dolby release has only 2.0 for the EE's.
It was a better performance I thought and I much preferred the way the band played a number of the songs. I do like the quality of the Blu-ray Disc release of Beside You In Time, but there are only a few songs I really want to listen to. With Teeth is good, as is Head, Burn, etc., but when you compare Wish and Terrible Lie to the 2000 tour DVD release versions it's no comparison, the 2000 performances sound much more like Nine Inch Nails than the 2006 performances do.
The Dave and Tim Blu-ray is the best audio I've heard that's not an SACD or DVD-Audio disc. The 24/96 TrueHD multi-channel mix is absolutely phenominal. I can't wait for a full Dave Matthews Band release on Blu-ray with multi-channel TrueHD or PCM.
