Hi!
I'm relatively new to home theatre, surround sound etc. but want to buy a 5.1 setup for my Xbox 360/DVD player. Unfortunately the TV is in the corner of a fairly large, high-ceilinged room which doubles as my sibling's playroom... which effectively eliminates using floor stands for the rear speakers. The ceiling is about 3.5 meters high, and I am wondering would ceiling-mounting be a good option? If so, how far and at what angle would the rear speakers need to be from the couch for optimal rear sound?
If it makes a difference, the 5.1 kit I am planning on using is a Logitech Z-5500...pretty expensive for a first-time thing, I know...
Thanks!
