I know it's a long-shot for the A2-300 but worth a try.

Seems a strange way to pitch a sale!

C'mon, hold out for an A7 - 900!
Haha, that'll be the day. I'm just looking for scraps from the people who should be upgrading to the A7 - 900!

Is your point that I should have been more specific in the first place? Not sure where youre going...

Well, YES! I'm not a buyer, but I would have thought that age, use, condition asking price would be a good idea to post about selling anything. A link to a site where a potential customer can get info, would also have been a good idea, I would have thought.

That post sounds as if you are not expecting a sale, and apologizing for the unit in the first place. If you post like that you will be lucky to close a sale.

Misunderstanding here. "WTB"= "want to buy." I'm hoping that someone will be upgrading or otherwise looking to sell a subwoofer.

Thanks Vart, that IS a good price! Unfortunately, the seller doesn't have the original box which means shipping would be "iffy" and the warranty wouldn't be transferable. If it was local maybe I'd consider.

Why wouldn't the warranty transfer? Because of the risks associated with shipping it without the original box?

I know that generally ed is pretty good when it comes to transferring warranties.

Not sure where in Michigan you live, but it might be close enough to drive down to SVS' factory in Youngstown, OH. You could check out their factory and maybe even find a b-stock sub. For b-stock prices and no shipping, you could really do well for yourself.

If it were w/in a five hour drive, I'd seriously consider it.... -TD

Vart: check <a href=http://www.edesignaudio.com/12vwarranty.php>this link out</a>
It describes, in full detail, the warranty, as well as transferring there-of.

Tom: Thanks for the tip! I hadn't even considered that. Does visiting the factory increase the likelihood that one could purchase a b-stock sub? If not, then the gas expenses might outweigh the shipping expenses!

NP.

Not sure if it increases your likelihood, but I would think so. Their shipping charges are very reasonable considering the size and weight of most of their subs, but just thought I'd throw that out there if it's an option for you.

Give them a call and ask, they're very helpful and pretty friendly as well, I'm sure they could tell you whether an 'in-person' visit would increase your chances of a good b-stock... -TD

reading their policy with shipping unit to them in anything other than original box really is a little harsh. They come accross pretty brazin.
