ReVox B251 Amp opinion

I acquired a ReVox B251 Integrated amp this week. Does anyone have an opinion on this amp or ReVox? I myself love the sound. Old amp, but boy is it clean.

Revox was, I believe a Swiss company that made terrific reel-to-reel recorders circa the seventies. They were quite expensive and considered a cut above the Teac recorders.

You have a really good amp. Herr Willi Studer was one of the greats. Cherish it!

Amen to that. Revox made its name in the tape recorder business. While they have made other products like your amp, they never gained the fame that their tape recorders garnered in the marketplace even though their quality was as indisputable as that of the recorders. Think of it as rare gem.

Revox was the semi professional division of Willi Studer. After Herr Studer's death the company was bought by Harmon International. Revox was sold off and is still in business. Studer continue to manufacture professional recording studio equipment.
