Sub suggestions for new system

I've been reading through this forum for some time and there's a ton of info here. I currently have the following system on order for my 11x24 living room:
Onkyo 905
PSB Image T55's, C60 center and SW260 bi-pole/di-pole in-wall surrounds for 7.1.

I'll also have a PS3 & cable box hooked up for now. Our primary listening is geared towards home theater and the PS3 w/ music being important. However, we rarely listen to multi-channel music.

Now I need to decide on a sub to round out the lower frequencies. I need to stay under $600 to keep the CFO happy. I've looked as the SVS PB12-NSD, the HSU VTF-2 MK3 & the Outlaw LFM-1 Plus (currently out of stock).

Your ideas & suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also considering the PSB SubSeries 6i. The reviews place it favorably against HSU & Outlaw subs in the same price range.

Check out the AV123 MFW-15. It is getting stellar reviews and it now seems to be the most "bang for the buck" in the price range you are looking at. Craigsub here has done some extensive head-to-head subwoofer testing and the MFW-15 proved itself against subs costing near 3x as much.

Best,

Thank you. Though, it looks like the AV123 MFW-15 won't be available for at least another month...

Yeah, I see that. But, some finishes are available now, so it will depend on what finish you would need. If you need satin black, then yeah it will be sometime in March. Still with the number this sub is showing, I think it is worth the wait. Actually I put my money where my mouth is since I have one on order!

I have 2 MFW-15's on order right now, so I'll give you a sound check in March :D

Just out of curiousity, have you tried to audition the DefTech SuperCube subs? Not sure what your budget is, but for 900 you can pick up a supercube 2 and I highly doubt you will be disappointed. I didn't believe an 8" woofer could go that low while still being loud and clean, but it does. All I can say is they are definitely subs worth putting on your audition list.
