Aside from those two, they generally sucked.

Well, when the Terminator came out, ripped the robot mascot out of the lower left corner and trashed it was fun as well.

Other than that, disappointing, very disappointing. We expected much, much more.

Thanks to Corey's post (#8) I was able to watch it again. That's when I realized that you were quoting the commercial. Duuuhhhhh .... At first I thought you were just making a rather awkward statement that belied your drinking problem. When Ferrell says it, it's hilarious. When you write it, it sounds like you're having a break with reality.

Turns out that I did see some cavemen, but not THOSE cavemen.
BTW I used the meat grinder line but it bombed. It was a tough crowd. I'm sure it didn't help that I'm not a sports fan so I always end up rooting for the wrong team at least a little. I just like to see the guys with the ball do good.

I thought the "Godfather" commercial was pretty good - it was understated, but also unexpected too, which is what made it good.

Thanks.....I think. Yeah, when I first read your response it made me feel kind of creeped out. I'm sure somebody out there has read the "Suck One" quote and thought, "That's rude."

The only times I have ever seen Super Bowl commercials were when they were repeated elsewhere (on an awards show, for example.)
