Hello I am new to the forum. I need some help. For all the research I have decided to build my system with the brand Aperion. Apart from the films I like to enjoy good music. The size of my room is 16 x 16. I recommend going with the series intimus lr 532-or 632-lr.? Of course, my budget is somewhat limited, and then buy the sub woofer, center and rear sound. Thanks

Overall imaging and sound quality should be very close. The 632 is going to go a bit deeper and a bit louder. I am of the mind to go with the 532's put the savings in a sub and center channel.

I would look at the Onkyo 805 or 875 depending on your needs. If you don't need the video scaling capabilities of the 875, then consider the 805. Other good brands to consider are Denon or Yamaha. The Audioholics Store has some specials on receivers now (I think). See the Deals section of this forum.

I also have aperion speakers and would recommend the 12" sub from them if you are going with one of their packages. If not, you may want to look at SVS as they make killer subs. After a couple of years, I upgraded my aperion sub to an SVS PCPlus/2.

Aperion Audio

I have auditioned a pair of 632 LR for two weeks and then upgraded to the 633 Towers. The 632's image very well, and have enough bottom end to cross over at 80 Hz, just starting point.

Check out the Onkyo 605, it will drive them quite well, and its modern HDMI 1.3...7.1 surround sound.

Subwoofer brands to look at:

SVS Sound
HSU Research
AV123
Elemental Designs
Epik Subwoofer

The last 3 are really turning up the heat on the value 15" sub market.
