I already ran a search and didn't find what I was looking for.

Anyhow, I just got my Dayton 120 and it pops. I have a network media controller hooked up via toslink and it pops when I switch tracks. It also pops when I change scenes on a DVD and it pops when you turn the amp on or off.

It does it in auto or on mode. The phase is set to normal, the frequency is set to 80Hz, and the level is set to 75%.

Is this normal? I've never had a subwoofer do this except when turning on or off.

No it's not normal and there is some interference somewhere causing it. You may have to disconnect everything and then add piece by piece to figure out what it is.

So, you're talking audio, video, and speakers? Also, could this interference come from something plugged in on the same circuit?

My subwoofers pop, all of them, and the cause is my receiver. It seems to be sending a signal. It changed when I switched DVD players, but it does it when I hit mute too.

It could be anything, that's why you have to start from scratch and see what's causing it. It will be a hassle but worth it.

When you said inference the first thing that came to mind was my MediaGate which is plugged into the amp. Unplugged and viola, it's fixed.

Thank you very much. :)
