The Audioholics store is looking to add another speaker brand to our product selection in the next couple of weeks. We would like your input to help us decide which brand should be added. Note that we do plan on adding other brands over time but for now we would like to focus our efforts on one particular line of product. thank you.

Not to be a continual pain in the neck Gene, but for me, none of the above (not an option, but you didn't rule it out either). I would, however, like to see Bowers & Wilkins and Paradigm (I'm a creature of habit :)).

Understood, but the brands I listed thus far have the highest success rate of inclusion immediately. We are working on other brands in the future, but we want to limit the selection of brands to the most appealing to our readers.

I vote for the Pinnacle!! The others are all available at the corner store.

Ps: Are these offers and or specials from the AH store available to non US residents?

I don't think either one of them allow internet sales. I think Klipsch would probably be the largest volume choice of the ones you listed. That's the one I would choose in your shoes.

I voted for Polk. But in all honesty, I like Infinity, JBL, and Kplisch just as much.

But one thing I would like to point out is that, in order to differentiate from the big box retailers, I think the Audioholics store should concentrate on the higher end lines from these brands. There is a discernable difference in sound and build quality between the everyday kplisch line and the Kplisch reference series. The same thing goes for the Polk, Infinity, and JBL brands.

Another nice thing about getting the higher model lines from these brands is that they represent very good bang for the buck value for your money.

For my money, I would rather get a top of the line model from Polk, Infinity, JBL, or Kplisch, than to get a bottom of the line model from B&W. Companies often put their best design and craftsmanship into their top of the line models, regardless of a brand's perceived standing among audio enthusiasts. Just my personal opinion, B&W doesn't really start to sound good until you get to their top of the line 800 series, which cost CONSIDERABLY more money than their lower lines.

It's a tough choice, but I think Polk has a very broad product line and price range with a lot to offer. Otherwise I would have to go with Pinnacle.

(Oh, that's right. My vote doesn't count.)

I've owned everything listed except Pinnacle. I voted Polk also. Much good stuff!

If you add JBL, get the GOOD STUFF! Not that crapo stuff they sell to chain stores.

I wish I could buy Athenas without the huge shipping tag.

Actually, they don't seem to have much distribution-a shame, given the rave reviews.

I voted Pinnacle because I hardly see their stuff on-line, Polk, Klipsch, JBL are everywhere. Why not offer something that most places don't?:)

Forgot about the Athenas. I really like their larger bookshelf and that large floorstander with the dual 8 inch woofers. Very nice, and quite inexpensive to boot.:)

I would like to say Infinity, but they are easy to find; Pinnacle on the other hand...

Voted Pinnacle. The local shops have upgraded lines of the other speaker manufacturers.

I vote SVS speakers
They are already sold on-line and direct. On a more serious note can Mackies be sold on-line?

Who said Bose. There's one in every crowd.:p

Get a brand not easily available on-line. I think Polk and Jbl as someone said are available at several of the dominant e-tailers. It will be difficult to buck the BH Photo, Onecall, etc... on mainstream brands. Reference Klipsch or the higher end Infinity would be great. Pinnacle I am not familiar with but several seem to think it would be a great idea.
