I found the story slow yet curiously addicting. "Slow" not to be confused with boring. The movie develops a lot, and the dialog and subtle aspects of the film are what pull it together so nicely.
This movie has an excellent soundtrack. Dialog is crystal clear, even the dynamics are crunchy - from doors closing to bees panning across to bombs exploding. The score is great too, integrating with the story all the way to the mechanical taps of a typewriting blending into music - sort of reminding me of the types of things electronic music artists like Burial do.
The cinematography is fantastic, with sweeping scenes and this soft look that really fits the movie. Some of the shots are so long and beautiful, its hard to imagine how they put it together. One of the scenes I actually went back and watched again because it was such a nice shot.
The movie isn't light, but I'd say worth renting for sure.
